Who We Are
As a pest management company owner or manager, time is your most valuable resource. Pest Pro Academy helps you get new hires up to speed faster, ensure all apprentices are trained in the same essential pest management skills, and protect your company’s reputation with a proven program that meets all state pest management certification requirements.
Working with Pest Pro Academy is like having your own in-house training program—without having to teach the courses yourself. Full administrative control means you can see exactly what your apprentices are learning, how well they are performing in each class, how far they have progressed in the program. If an apprentice is struggling with a course, you can see what the problem is, and address any misunderstandings or problem areas.
Here’s an overview of our programs key benefits, and how it works.
Why Pest Pro Academy?
Key Benefits
Meet Texas State Requirements
Pest Pro Academy covers the Verifiable Training component of the Texas Department of Agriculture’s Structural Pest Control Licensing program, making it easy to maintain compliance.

When apprentices complete training, you will receive verifiable Certificates of Completion, which can be printed, emailed, and stored for your records.
Track Apprentice Progress
With full administrative control, you can view lessons to under- stand what your team is learning, monitor each apprentice’s progress in the dashboard, and get insights into areas where apprentices are struggling or succeeding.

Pest Pro Academy is more affordable than other pest management training, including many online and in-person options. Enrollment starts at just $176.17 per technician, for businesses with 10 or more apprentices.
Meet Texas State Requirements
Apprentices can take classes anywhere, at any time, using any computer, phone, or tablet. More flexibility means fewer missed classes and incomplete training records.
High Quality Education
Designed by experienced pest control experts, our program teaches apprentices the skills they need to operate safely, efficiently and effectively, improving customer satisfaction and serving as valuable representatives of your business.
Interesting and Interactive
No more boring lectures that put your apprentices to sleep. Our interesting, interactive lessons keep apprentices engaged, with built-in games to keep brains engaged and help with content retention.
Transferrable Enrollment
Never lose money on apprentices who fail to complete their courses. If an apprentice enrolls in Pest Pro Academy but does not finish the program, their enrollment may be transferred to a replacement apprentice at no additional cost.
Ongoing Resource
Apprentices can access courses at any time, to review content and refresh their memory on important topics.
Spend more time working IN your business and less time working ON it.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Q. What if my technician quits before completing the training?
A. If a Learner quits before earning any certificates, we will credit you the full enrollment fee for your next enrollee.
-
Q. How do I pay?
A. You will receive an invoice within 24 hours of enrollment. We request that you pay on receipt. You can pay directly through the invoice by credit card or automated clearing house (ACH).
-
Q. Can we enroll for just one course? We only need the 20-Hour General Standards.
A. We do not sell courses separately. All courses are included for the same low cost. In order to provide each Learner the most training options, we sell our curriculum in an affordably priced bundle that includes the 20-Hour General Standards, 8-hour Pest, 8-hour Termite, 6-Hour Safety, and 1-hour Communications modules.
-
Q. Will Pest Pro Academy report Learners’ completions directly to the Texas Department of Agriculture?
A. No, we do not directly report this information to the Texas Department of Agriculture.
The Texas Department of Agriculture recognizes Pest Pro Academy’s curriculum as Verifiable Training, which requires that the Certified Applicator oversee and report the training on the Texas Structured Pest Control Service (SPCS) Verifiable Records Training Form. Our system will automatically generate printable certificates that include how many hours have been completed in each category. These certificates can be added to the Verifiable Training Record for additional proof of training.
